One of our clients and favorite places to eat is Roka Akor, now located in 2 places…Scottsdale Arizona and Chicago Illinois. We have had the pleasure of eating at both restaurants and not only is their vast attention to detail with the architecture amazing but the same attention to detail is put in the food. I personally have never been a sushi lover and now I cannot get enough of it. If you truly just aren't a sushi person no worries – they are also a steak restaurant with their robata grill fired daily. It's actually a great place if you have the sushi lovers but some people just want meat! Perfect balance.

The wine and sake list is extensive – more so in Chicago than in Scottsdale, but it is definitely gaining traction. Beverage director Rob Holder is extremely knowledgeable on the wine side and just recently became the only certified Sake specialist in Arizona – I don't know much, but I know that it's good!

We adore our clients and love being able to talk about them and share all their delicious little secrets. Tonight marks their new late night menu and drink specials starting at 10pm (Dec 29th). If you are in the mood for a relaxing lounge and a tasting of what Roka Akor has to offer stop on by, eat some – drink some and take a tour of the place – it's bar none creative and that's coming from me!
